I walked up to the Memorial Day parade with my friend Jill and her son Danny this morning. Her daughter, Ally, and her husband, Rob, were marching in the kids’ soccer group, so we wanted to get a good spot to view the fun! It was really fun–I loved seeing the community spirit out there, and WHAT a glorious day! Luke & Hannah found us about half-way through the parade, so we watched it together. The best part? The dogs–a whole HERD of golden retrievers, all decked out in patriotic bandanas, marching en masse. If that don’t cheer you up, nothin will.
