Staying

He is surrendered, and now we just have to get the adoption paperwork going and a court date set.

It seems like we've been waiting forever for this! And in a way, we have. I feel relief, great, overwhelming relief. And now I want to sleep for days and I think I'm getting sick. All the anxiety I've gotten used to carrying is suddenly gone, and now I can just. . .collapse.

Allyson, this is just the happiest news. He is yours… and you are his… may God bless all three of you on this next step… I am so very very ecstatic for you!

  2. Oh, Allyson! The tears of joy are flowing down my face. (I can hardly see to type!)I read it to Tom and we are rejoicing for you and Chad and A.
What a wonderful, marvelous answer to prayer!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

    Don’t collapse.
Sleep deep and comforting sleep with dreams of fulfillment and joy.
    Rest, my dear, rest.
    Don’t collapse.
