Broke down and went to see the new Pride & Prejudice with Faith yesterday. And all I did was beam and giggle and heave great sighs and leave completely satisfied. I totally recommend this production, even for die-hard fans of the book and the A&E production. This one has something deep and passionate and earthy. Go see it.
I want to go see it again. Sigh.

Excellent movie. One of the best I’ve ever seen. I especially liked the scene when Mr. Darcy comes walking across the field near the very end. Beautiful detail and cinematography.
ooh another one for the list, and narnia, but i have to read the book first….
i’m all about the A & E version… but if ally liked this one, i’ll probably see it… once i get a paycheck
i haven’t ventured out to see this yet, but might now that i know allyson liked it. she’s a harsh critic, so i’ll give it a chance.
