Homesick and out of sorts

Hello.
Feeling out of sorts today and missing Chad and home. I think I’m just overtired and overwhelmed with travel. I feel very far away from my life, and that’s a hard adjustment. We are taking it easy this evening in Arrowtown, near Queenstown. Our b&b has a tv/dvd player so we are going to watch WIllow and hang out. Maybe that will help! We haven’t been able to hook up the laptop to the internet, so still no pictures for you. Rest assured that I will be posting many many photos in the weeks to come! The drive here from Fox Glacier was unbelievable, like driving through three different climate/eco zones. Beautiful everywhere.

Cheers!

  1. Glad to hear you’re taking time for some “down time.” Travel is wonderful, but can be draining. I’ll pray that you can enjoy the rest of the trip fully.

  2. I’ve wondered what it would be like to be so far away from home. The farthest I’ve ever been is Europe and never once during the whole time I was there did I feel “right.” I had a great time, my memories are wonderful, but there was always an awareness of how far I was away from home.

  3. Miss you at home, too, honey! The house is looking good after all the work mom and dad are doing… It’s amazing what a difference paint makes. Stratton is coming up to help Saturday, and Dennis Leach is supposed to be getting a few people together to help! Love you!

I spent my entire honeymoon in Jamaica feeling homesick… being out of hte country and away is very difficult, but you have to enjoy the moment, live in the moment, and just BE! You will be home sooner in the blink of an eye – so enjoy your NOW! Plus, I thought of you when I read this article….

This will make you happy 🙂
    From WKYC.COM – CLEVELAND — They’re back.
Giant Eagle says forget what they said before. Double coupons are here to stay.
At the beginning of the month, the chain announced it was doing away with the program in its Akron and Cleveland area stores.
A few days later, they reinstated the program for the month of September.
Now, Giant Eagle says they have listened to their customers and will keep doubling manufacturer coupons up to 99-cents.
The chain’s CEO says the company “misjudged the impact of the changes [they] were considering” and will now keep coupon program.
