Yesterday, Meredith and I got up early and went to Assateague to hike. We started on the Loop, branched off onto the service road, and then took a little path up to the shore. It was completely foggy when we started, which made it all very beautiful and otherworldly. We saw ponies on the way.

And then it suddenly cleared up.
And then, just as suddenly, the fog came rolling back in.
The best thing about Meredith is, we have so much fun together! Every time!

Of course we’re jealous!! But you should be jealous of the delicious strawberry jam we just made, so that makes us even.
