Why I do this

This came from a friend today–her dad is one of the people in whose honor I am riding. He has the same kind of leukemia my Mum had. Please pray for him and his whole family.

"For those who haven’t heard yet~

Dad went to the doctor’s today and the leukemia is back 83%.  It has grown
very rapidly in 3 weeks.  His blood counts were clear April 18th.  So right
now he is faced with the option of going back to the clinic for another
round of chemo with the "hope" that he makes it through.  If he does and
goes into remission for even a short time, they will do a bone morrow
transplant immediately.

With no treatment, the doctors give him 2 maybe 3 months to live.   He will
be headed to the clinic tomorrow morning.  He will be there at least 1
month.  Please pray for our family.

Thank you,
Amy"

This is what keeps me on that bike. . .

  1. it’s good to be reminded of what’s important. i think we all need to stop and remember WHY we do what we do… And if we have forgotten, we should ask someone to remind us.
