Visions of Sugar Plums, Part One

My house smelled SO good this weekend. Wanna know why?

I made enough to build three houses using my super awesome and wonderful and fantastic silicone molds.  I love those things!

Then it was assembly time, and that means lots of fun and sticky messiness.

I used melted almond bark as the glue. Someone thought this looked like a good time and wanted a turn.

He was a much more careful and tidy builder than I was.

And then, a little bit late because the roads were so bad, our guests arrived for the best part of all!

    How did the melted almond bark do? It seems like a better option than royal icing, as I am imagining this!
