It’s Medina County Fair week. I’ve been looking forward to it all year, and tonight, finally, we went. Usually we go for the whole shebang–the animals, food, 4-H stuff, the crafts, etc., but this year, we decided to just go in on a "food pass." This allows you THIRTY minutes to race around the fair, fill your arms with as much food as you can carry, and make it back to the gate to get your $5 back. I had a game plan ready before we went in: twirly fries and cheesesteak, twirly fries and cheesesteak.
Chad had no game plan. He just went wherever his little heart led him. The first thing he got was a pound of bulk candy.
And then he bought a sausage sandwich AND a steak sandwich.;
And just to be fair, I must admit to grabbing a frozen cheesecake on a stick (dipped in chocolate. . .) on the way out.
Did it with FOUR minutes to spare!
Love lit up rides at night:

You, my friend, are a Fair Food pro!
I did not understand the curly fries when you explained them to me. Now that I see them I’ll have to hunt them out at the Richland County Fair next week. They look quite wonderful!
Ah, the fair. So glad you were able to go and get your Fair Food Fix. 😉 It looks delicious.
Hey babe, I like the new look… Easier to read! Also, great header picture at the top… I see you got it to work!
aaaah. potatoes how I love you. every time I see the spinny potato guy I wish I had bought the stand when it was for sale a few years ago. to be the carnie selling $6 friend potatoes. but it’s worth it.
Oh my goodness! Fairs in Canada are just NOT the same!!!! I’ve never heard of the Food Pass, but by golly, I’m going to take my family there some day to give it a try! The fairs around here are silly little carnivals with no real “fair food.” How I miss my familiar Wayne County Fair! Glad you guys could enjoy it!
