Ok, so judging from the volume of comments on my fabulous random dog-photo post, I still need to come up with more inspiring blog fodder.
Yesterday was HOT. And STICKY. And I sat outside in the wet, stuffy air for several hours with small children lucky enough to have a wading pool to splash in. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it. Emma was kind; she watered my feet.
Yep, them ugly dogs is mine.
Ben was not a good listener. Proof:
He was told SEVERAL times to get off the roof of the playhouse and to STAY off the roof of the playhouse. I finally had to go over there and personally supervise the getting off the roof.
If you are really nice to me and send me comments, I might be persuaded to post more photos from the wedding. I’m almost done editing them. . . and I have some really funny pictures of my friends dancing.
I leave for New Zealand in four weeks!
Ah, Ben is even pointing violently at the photographer, to boot!

Why are you going to New Zealand? Is it to fulfill your life long desire to visit Hobbiton?
Kim, I am going to meet my cousin Meredith in New Zealand. She is currently serving in Iraq, and she decided that she wants to spend her deployment leave visitng New Zealand, as she’s always wanted to go there. Since she didn’t want to go by herself, she bought her favorite cousin a plane ticket. 🙂 Ok, I don’t know if I’m her FAVORITE cousin, but I am definitely the most fun to travel with! (Maybe this will finally get my other cousins to comment!) And yes, Hobbiton does have some appeal to me. We’re focusing on the South Island, starting in Christchurch and exploring Southland and the West Coast. I can’t wait!
Gee, I wish I was someone’s favorite cousin. I could use a plane ticket to New Zealand. Anyone out there need a good traveling cousing?
