Spring Birdies are Back

There were a million birds in the neighbors' crab-apple trees yesterday. A big flock of rosy robins and later a bunch of glossy grackles. SUCH a flurry and busy-ness going on! So much EATING to do. It was exhausting to watch them, and I had to get a snack afterwards.

The birds know it: spring is coming soon.

I'm trying to believe them.

I love the picture! Especially the robin giving wing exposure!
Unfortunately, as your father has pointed out on numerous occasions- many Robins winter over.
    But, I WANT to believe!

Anything that points to snow going away is a beautiful thing. Yay birds!

Great photo. We had some FAT robins in our burning bushes. It won’t be long and we’ll have windows open again!
