So we get to the Christmas tree farm we always go to, and it's all lit up pretty and sparkly. The trees are fresh and fragrant, and sky is that electric blue of dusk, and we've just had the excitement of riding in a different vehicle. And what does the boy flip out about? The tractors.
Watching the man park the big tractor.
And THIS is *total* awesomenesss.
And then we bought the tree (after the fastest tree decision in history. I saw the tree in the first five minutes and said, "yep!"), and had to leave the tractors behind.
Cruel, cruel world.
It was impossible not to laugh. I hope this doesn't make me a bad person.
Today, I spent much of my time winding lights all over our larger-than-expected tree. I ran out mid-way through and had to send Chad out for more. Here it is, all lit up and waiting for ornaments.
Ada enjoys basking in the glow.
And so begins the season!
I love this picture.

Sounds like a sweet day. The tree is gorgeous!
I laughed too! Precious memories!
Boys and tractors always go together. And no, you are not a bad person for laughing.
