Tell me that asparagus is growing in your yard! That is so exciting!!!!
Some truly beautiful shots Allyson…. also, the purple flowers… I have them in my yard for the first time ever… either the fairies or the squirrels plant them I think…. what are they?
Jill, I totally wish that asaparagus were in my yard! It’s actually in Mike and Kristen’s yard, which is the next best thing, since they are as generous with asparagus as they are with their children. It is my FAVORITE spring thing! My parents used to have a giant asparagus bed when I was growing up–I got really spoiled. I don’t know if I have a good spot here, and it takes three years to establish itself. Anyways, the purple flowers are grape hyacinths. I love them! The fairies MUST have planted them, since they are bulbs, but they spread a bit and smell lovely.
mmmm ‘sparagus….. butter. lemon. mmmmm.
That butterfly mask looks great on you – very elegant. And I LOVE asparagus! Visit Granny – she’ll hook you up!
