"Well, actually, I am a dentist."
Chad and I started totally howling when Hermie popped out of the snow bank and introduced himself to Rudolph. Chad claims not to have seen Rudolph before–he was surprised that it was a musical, and he laughed at all the funny woodland creatures flittering around and called them "lame." I tried not to be offended by this.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas. . .

“Bumbles bounce!”
and
“Look what he can do!”
I find it very strange that Chad has managed to avoid seeing Rudolf all these years; it is truly a classic and one of our family’s favorite Christmas shows.
So he called the characters lame, but did he like it?
It’s not so much a lack of experience on his part, but a lack of memory. Poor dear, now that he’s thirty, I fear it will only get worse! He did like it–at least, he laughed a lot and sat through the entire thing with me. And, I think we all must admit this: part of Rudolph’s charm is its very lameness.
