Yesterday was Jordan’s twentieth birthday! I remember being "too sick" to go to school the day he was born. My mom and grandma and I sat in the Freeze, an old diner type place, and talked about how much fun it was going to be to have a baby around. When we got the call that Jordan had arrived and that Heidi was ok, my grandma cried. It was the first time I’d ever seen that, and it really made a big impact. I love Jordan–he is more my little brother than my cousin, and he’s one of my all-time favorite people. So we spent the day crawling on rocks out at Virginia Kendall. Well, Chad and Jordan, mostly. I stood there and said things like, "I really think that it’s too dangerous. That looks slippery, are you sure that’s a good idea. You are not jumping that, Chad! Oh, wait, don’t I get double the insurance if you die in an accident?"

Yeah! Ledges! You can’t tell me you didn’t do any climbing around like we used to Allyson. 🙂 That looks like so much fun. Your pictures make me miss those ledges so much more. But, it’s nice to see that they still hold so much more adventure. I love it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN!! 20 years old. Wow.
happy birthday Jordan!
Allyson, remember, the deal is, you get the BIG CHECK from the insurance company. The ones they give out to publishers clearing house people…
