I am so very furnished!

SO, after a few days of lugging and dragging massive pieces of furniture to and fro about the house, I am happy and sometimes I even squee when I see certain views of certain rooms. I am sure this is a sign of mental illness. But anyways, the furniture Mom and Dad gave us is beautiful, and somehow, we’ve made it fit seemlessly into our house.

In this picture, that drop-dead gorgeous desk is "new" from the parental units. It used to belong to Chad’s grandfather.

And here, you see a cute little white cabinet under the shelf and six sturdy oak chairs and a round table. All new. That table has 6 feet of leaves, so we can have lots of people simultaneously eating. Always a good thing!

And, if any of this strikes your fancy, the best time to rob us blind is during my bike rides. I left the front door wide-open, with only the scrawny screen door to protect all our stuff from kleptomaniacs.

WOW – it really looks wonderful, like it was all meant to be there! Can’t wait to see it in person…. 😀

  3. Very cool, very cool. I ate at the table throughout my childhood, and occasionally grabbed a pen or piece of paper for Mom or Dad from the desk… very cool.
