We went to Granny's last night for dinner, because my dad and Debbie are in town. For the most part, it was a very nice evening. My brother still has his knack for taking over and monopolizing every situation, so that part wasn't so pleasant. Nonetheless, I was happy to see my dad, even if it was just for a few hours.

In homestudy news, the meeting this morning went very well. I came away feeling very positive about the process. Our worker, Natalie, said she's shooting to have the homestudy completed by the first week of October, and as the process goes very quickly after that, we could have a placement by the end of October!
