It has been gloriously beautiful around here, finally. Warm, blue skied, perfect. The leaves are dry and kind of crunchy, and the air is so clear. We’ve been spending lots of time outside, especially in the woods. Aiden likes to play “in the river,” which is any body of water, even a puddle. So Sarabeth and I took the kids to the park to play in the river.

So, in case you’ve been wondering about the title of this post, let me explain. Jillian is the forest fairy. And Aiden? Well, he’s the troll, under the bridge, wanting to know, “Who is that trip-trapping over my bridge?”

What a beautiful entry! The pictures are great, a perfect day for pictures. The best part was seeing the children playing in the water. Thank you! I love you.
I can just see his face (although I can’t in the picture)- and I love the splayed finger movement he always adds to the troll. I remember playing in the rivers and creeks of my childhood- always a magical place.
Ha! Our adorable little peoples! Jillian’s cuteness is overwhelming.
Love this post! We had a fun morning, minus the car issue, but you, Ally, are a car genius 🙂 Great pictures!
